Continuing a distinguished career in law enforcement and security innovations worldwide, Chief Gainer most recently served as the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms where he maintained security in the Capitol and Senate office buildings and led a force of nearly 1,000 personnel. A former Illinois State Police director, Chicago police detective and captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve, Chief Gainer will serve GTI in a leadership capacity advising on security matters.
The Arc of the Quad Cities Area helps people with disabilities reach greater independence in their everyday lives. The Arc is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency that changes the lives of hundreds of individuals in Rock Island County. The Arc offers a range of services for people with varying ability levels. Carefully planned and implemented by dedicated staff, all programs focus on independence and personal choice. The Arc provides housing, employment, day training, respite, assistive technology, case coordination, and a network of other supportive services to people with developmental disabilities.
